We Shall Overcome., Quorum

The anthem.

"We shall overcome" is the anthem of the American civil-rights movement, sung at marches, in churches, in jails. Three words in the future tense, a statement of patient, collective certainty.

Why the phrase, carefully.

Quorum uses the phrase itself, which stands free, and sets it in the brand's own typography rather than borrowing any particular musical arrangement. The Movement lens carries it because it is the tradition's clearest single line.

How we set it.

Fraunces, "Overcome" in the soft italic. Set quietly and with weight, the way the line is meant to be sung.
